In general, the Duncanville Municipal Court has jurisdiction for offenses occurring within the city limits that are violations of a municipal ordinance or a state statute. State statutes enforced in the Municipal Court include the Texas Penal Code, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code, the Texas Health Code, and the Safety Code. The Municipal Court handles offenses that are punishable by fine only.

Driving Safety Course and Deferred Disposition requests are not payable here. Contact the court at (972) 780-5055 for eligibility.

 

Full payments on WARRANTS may be paid online between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. The Duncanville Municipal Court strongly advises you to keep your receipt of payment on your person for 72hrs, as there will be a delay between the time of payment and the recall of the warrant(s).

 

Assault Family Violence violations are not payable here. You must appear in open court.

 

ATTENTION: For cases where a plea has not been previously entered, by paying online, you are entering a plea of no contest to the violation, and you agree to waive your right to a jury trial. A judgment of guilt will be entered against you. Certain convictions will be reported to the Department of Public Safety to be placed on your driving record.
