Duncanville City Hall and Non-Essential Facilities will open at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 10, 2025, due to the potential for hazardous road conditions Friday morning. The Duncanville Recreation Center (201 James Collins Blvd. Duncanville, TX 75116) will be open as a Warming Center on Friday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, if needed, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Visitors are encouraged to bring supplies such as phone chargers, water, and snacks. Membership fees will be waived during this period.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for North Texas. In response, Duncanville city staff, who have been monitoring weather developments for days, have begun implementing plans to protect and assist the community.
