Inter-Library Loan
Sometimes, you want a title that we don’t have but another library does. If that library is far away you probably don’t want to drive out there. In that case, we can ask the library to send it to us. This is called Interlibrary Loan (ILL.)
There’s a few things you need to know first.
a. You must not have any items overdue or owe any fines.
b. The other library might say no.
c. If they do send the item there is a $3.75 mailing fee when you pick it up.
d. Your request will probably take a few weeks to arrive.
e. You can’t renew.
There are two ways to make this request:
- Option A: Come in or give us a call. 972-707-3829
- Option B: Go online. Submit a request through InterLibrary Loan. You will select Duncanville Public Library and sign in with your library card number and PIN.
