Duncanville to Host Inaugural BloomFest Music & Arts Festival on May 2 Featuring Emerald City Band, Local Artists, and More

DUNCANVILLE, TX – The City of Duncanville is excited to announce the BloomFest Music & Arts Festival, a vibrant celebration of art, music, and culture, on May 2, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Armstrong Park.
The event will feature live performances by the Emerald City Band, a high-energy musical experience that will be the highlight of the evening. Attendees can also explore the Artist & Maker Market, showcasing local artisans and makers selling unique creations, with plants and florals provided by Cox Farms Nursery.
Call to Artists & Performers: We are inviting artists to submit their work for display at the event, compete in our sculpture contest, and apply for vendor booths to sell their work in our market. Performers are also welcome to take the stage before the headlining Emerald City Band.
Food Vendors & Sponsors Needed: We are looking for food vendors to provide culinary delights and local businesses to help sponsor the festival. This is a fantastic opportunity for exposure and to be part of an exciting new community event.
Adding to the excitement, this weekend also coincides with the Triple Threat Tussle Basketball Tournament and the American Grappling Jiu Jitsu Tournament, both taking place on May 3rd and 4th at the Duncanville Fieldhouse. This provides a perfect opportunity for visitors to spend the weekend in Duncanville, experience our dynamic community, and enjoy both sports and arts events.
