New Markets Tax Credit Program

The New Markets Tax Credit program (NMTC) was designed to give incentives to businesses for development in disadvantaged areas as designated by the US Department of Commerce. Businesses that build in qualified tracts are eligible for returns on portions of their expenses. Since the locations that we are presenting fall in this category, you could see approximately 16% of your investment recouped through this program should you choose one of these Paris sites. HUBZone Program

This program is funded through the U.S. Small Business Administration and fuels small business growth in historically underutilized business zones with a goal of awarding at least 3% of federal contract dollars to HUBZone-certified companies each year. Joining the program offers businesses to compete for the program’s set-aside contracts in addition to getting a 10% price evaluation preference in full and open contract competitions. Learn More.

Qualified Opportunity Zone Program

This program was part of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and offers taxpayers a potential federal capital gains tax incentive for investing in economically distressed areas of the United States. The potential benefits include deferral, discount, and exemption from federal capital gains taxes. Learn More.
